Dr. Tim Strickland, Chief of Staff

Dr. Strickland grew up in south Florida, attended Florida State University and the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine. He has practiced Veterinary Medicine in North Carolina and SW Virginia since 1983. His interests include preventive medicine, internal medicine and soft tissue and orthopedic surgery. He has a special interest in Diagnostic imaging including endoscopy, digital radiology and ultrasonography. He currently lives in Yadkin County.

Dr. Julie Williamson

Dr. Williamson was born in Columbus, Ohio, and raised in Mt Vernon, Indiana. She received a B.S. in Biology with a minor in Animal Behavior at Indiana University. She then moved south to pursue her Veterinary Medicine Degree, graduating from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine in 2005. Dr, Williamson moved to Mocksville, NC in September 2008 and joined Animal Hospital West in November 2008. Her special interests include internal medicine, animal behavior, care for geriatric animals, and nutrition. Dr. Williamson resides with her husband Shawn, a large animal veterinarian, her daughter Patricia, 2 dogs and 1 cat.

Dr. Charlotte Kates Smith

Dr. Smith was born and raised in Winston-Salem, NC. She attended UNC-Charlotte for 2 years and then completed her undergraduate degree at North Carolina State University. She earned her Veterinary Medicine Degree at North Carolina State University. Upon graduation, she moved to Wilmington, NC and practiced there for a few years. She has just recently relocated back to her hometown and joined our team as a full time associate veterinarian. Dr. Smith has special interest in complicated internal medicine cases, geriatric medicine, surgery, ophthalmology, dermatology and client education. In her spare time, as well as many other activities, she enjoys boating, water skiing and spending time with her family and friends. Dr. Smith lives in Clemmons.
